Constitutional Amendment Guidelines

Statutory provisions, voting parameters, and protocols governing alterations, modifications, and amendments to the Memorandum and Regulations of the Society.

Extra-ordinary General Meeting for Amendments

The Governing Body may direct to convene an extra-ordinary general meeting for the consideration of any addition, alteration, or amendment of the memorandum or regulations of the society. At least 7 days' notice along with the proposed draft of change shall be sent to members before the meeting. The resolution for change, amendment, etc., of the memorandum and regulations shall be carried out if accepted by three-fourths of the members present at the meeting.

Alteration of Memorandum & Regulations

The Memorandum and Regulations may be altered, modified, rescinded, or added to by special resolutions passed by three-fourths of the members in a general meeting called specifically for the purpose.

Powers on Bye-laws & Rules

The Governing Body shall have absolute powers to make, alter, modify, or rescind such bye-laws and rules as may be considered necessary in the interest of the smooth functioning of the Society.
